Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin
The pavilion was name after King Rama III’s original name, Jetsadabadin. It was built in 1989 to honor his founding of Wat Ratchanatda and Loha Prasat. The statue of King Rama III in 1.5 scale sitting on a marble throne is located at the front. The main pavilion functioned as a reception hall to welcome royal guests and world leaders while important figures and their followers were received in the three surrounding smaller halls. Today, the outdoor zone of the compound is open as a public park. Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin neighbors several historical site, including Loha Prasat, Wat Ratchanatda, Mahakan Fort, and Wat Saket.
