Tep Bar

Tep Bar cleverly mixes classic Thai drinks and entertainment with Western bar culture. The decor is traditional Thai and there are Thai musicians playing traditional music. You can also nibble on small plates of Thai tapas.

Ross Kitchen

Another bar offering a unique experience is Ross Kitchen at Akara Hotel Bangkok. 

Ross Kitchen is inspired by old Bangkok, characterised by its red neon lights. The decor is based on Thailand in the 70’s with decorations such as metal doors and old style cinema posters on display.

The menu here features flavour-packed cuisines from the 4 regions of Thailand as well as regional cocktails.

Suriyasai Content Bar

At first glance, you will be mesmerised by the beauty of this 100 year old traditional Thai house. The house was once a residence of a noble during the reign of King Rama VI.  Although Baan Suriyasai is now a restaurant & bar, it has maintained most of the original structure. 

Baan Suriyasai was constructed in a Colonial and Victorian style, a popular style during King Rama VI era.  Walking through the restaurant is like being taken back through time.

The restaurant is divided into various zones. The restaurant zone offers royal Thai cuisine with hard to find dishes. There is also a Tea room where you can enjoy tea and snacks. Content Bar zone on the 2nd floor will take you back to old world with Thai inspired cocktails such as  Khun Suek or Warrior cocktail. The cocktail is bold and robust and is inspired by the bravery of the warrior troops. 

Hours: Everyday. Restaurant zone 12.00 – 14.00 and 18.00 – 22.00. Tea room zone 10.00 – 18.00. Bar zone 18.00 – 01.00.

Juntun

Juntun is a Thai word which means rafter or a roof structure of a house. Juntun bar specialises in home made cuisine and Thai craft beers from around the country. The menu features Thai and International dishes as well as innovative cocktails such as JUNTUN cocktail, made with Thai fruit juice, served in a Southern traditional beverage container and a straw made from bamboo. The atmosphere is homey and cosy, perfect for a low key night out with your friends.

Asia Today Bar

This innovative bar focuses on using exotic Thai ingredients to create one of a kind drink menu, such as the use of wild chrysanthemum flowers from Chiangrai, the northernmost province of Thailand or the use of pickled garlic to give the cocktail a sour flavor. A lot of the ingredients here are unknown, even to an average Thai.
