Sala Rattanakosin is situated on the west side of Chao Phraya river, directly opposite Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). You can choose from the outdoor restaurant “Eatery and Bar” or the rooftop “The Roof”. With its strategic location, you are sure to get the perfect view of the river and Wat Arun.
Elephant Go Go recommends you to arrive a little early to enjoy the sunset and continue through the night. The beautifully lit temple of dawn against the orange sky is surely a picture perfect scene that is hard to forget.

This small and casual bar has a great river view, without breaking your bank. It is often regarded as the cheapest riverside bar in Bangkok.
Jack’s Bar is a compact outdoor bar, with capacity of about 20 seats. There is no reservation and it works on a first come first serve basis. Order your drinks with a side of simple stir-fry dishes. Jack’s Bar is a riverside hidden gem, not to be missed!

Bangkok has been a capital of Thailand for 237 years and if you are looking for a place to step back into time and get a taste of ancient Thai recipes, head to Supatra River House.
The restaurant retains the old Rattanakosin style house, where the indoor zone is a traditional Thai wooden house and the outdoor zone is a Sala overlooking the river.
